Advisory report on harassment case, written by Dr. Bilheran
Service Description
Dr. Ariane Bilheran prepares advisory reports for legal actions in harassment cases related to workplace situations (genuine complaints, unfair dismissals, etc.), in cooperation with law firms that consider this type of analysis useful for their clients. Ariane Bilheran may be contacted at the request of the law firm itself, with the client's consent, or directly by the client. The purpose of the expert report is to provide the judge with a situational analysis based on the psychological definition of harassment, establishing the chronology of events based on the evidence, which the judge can verify himself (thus, moving beyond the realm of purely subjective interpretation), the intent or lack thereof to harm (intent to harm is mandatory in criminal proceedings), and thus providing an expert opinion on whether the situation could constitute harassment or, on the contrary, a case of abusive complaint, based on very specific psychological criteria that Ariane Bilheran has helped to define throughout her career (e.g., the French Senate has relied on her work to characterize and limit laws on harassment). Hypotheses (for example, perverse processes) may be put forward during the report, but these concern less "psychological profiles" than the nature of the relationship, its chronology, and its inconsistencies. The file is first submitted for a diagnostic review (approximately 2 hours) by Ariane Bilheran, who reserves the right to accept or reject it. If refused, the preliminary diagnosis is charged; otherwise, it is included in the expert report. Therefore, please check the strength of the file beforehand, before sending it to Dr. Bilheran. All the cases on which she has written advisory opinions have so far always been successful in court. When Dr. Bilheran sees that she can present a solid argument, she accepts the file, devoting dedication, care, and rigor to the analysis and then to the drafting of the report. Dr. Bilheran refuses to accept deadlines that are too short and would prevent the production of a quality report. To request a preliminary review of your file, you can write to Dr. Bilheran.
