About the event
The Kogis Indians are a root people, from 4 000 years of history, living in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. Descendants of the Tayrona civilization, and refugees on the heights following the Spanish colonization of the 16th century, they survived in autarky to many episodes of violence and massacres, while preserving their traditions and their ancestral knowledge. For some time now, they have been alerting us to therisk of extinction of life on earth, and want to share their lessons with us tohelp us understand our environment, our essence, and contribute to the conservation of our planet. These teachings have a very practical dimension : they are morestrong principles of the circulation of living things that must be applied on a daily basis, only recipes to apply or to follow stupidly. When we observe the current impasses and the chaotic contradictions in which our society is caught, rediscovering the knowledge of the origins and returning to the fundamentals of common sense, which put the human being back in his rightful spiritual place, supposes a salutary humility : each one can become an actor actress through her awareness.
Ariane BILHERANtranslated and prefaced the book by Lucas BUCHHOLZ Kogi : spiritual lessons from a first people(ed. Aluna, 2022). This book is the story of the immersion ofLucasfor four months with the Kogis, in 2016, on the heights of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
Let's add that the speaker helps abandoned animals in Colombia.
L. Buchholz's book is on sale the evening of the conference after the debate
