Episodes of totalitarian upheaval since COVID have been frequent. It is now difficult to predict anything, or to claim to be spared, since the watchword on the planet seems to be: ordo ab chaos. Therefore, the main quality now required is adaptation: becoming as flexible as the reed, which bends but does not break. Through a personal experience, I was introduced to the question of exile due to an episode of totalitarian upheaval.
